Germination method for schisandra sphenanthera seeds

2013
The invention discloses a germination method for schisandra sphenanthera seeds. The schisandra sphenanthera seeds are immersed in CuSO4 solution with mass-volume concentration of 1-10mg/L or the schisandra sphenanthera seeds are immersed in gibberellin aqueous solution with mass-volume of 200-300mg/L after being immersed in the CuSO4 solution and then are buried in sand soil for germination. According to the method, the cracking rate of the schisandra sphenanthera seeds can be obviously improved, and the cracking time can be greatly shortened; therefore, the germination rate and the seedling rate of the schisandra sphenanthera seeds are effectively increased, and the seedling emergence time is shortened. A result shows that the schisandra sphenanthera seeds treated by the method disclosed by the invention can be completely cracked after being buried in the sand soil for 50 days as quickly as possible; after the seeds are buried in the sand soil for 130 days, the cracking rate of the seeds can reach 67.67-94.33 percent; after the seeds are buried in the sand soil for 140 days, the germination rate of the seeds can be 68.67-93.33%; after the seeds are buried in the sand soil for 200 days, the average seedling rate of every 100 seeds is 70-92 percent; the germination method can be widely applied to breeding and cultivating the schisandra sphenanthera seeds.
