ABP responds to recertification questions

I wish to comment on a letter to the editor from Dr. Edward Hausladen in the April 1994 AAP News. Dr. Hausladen remarked in his letter to the editor that neither the AAP Board of Directors nor the entire membership of the Academy were polled by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) regarding the format of the Program for Renewal of Certification in Pediatrics (PRCP). The ABP did not assert that the AAP membership or AAP Board of Directors had been polled.
