The invention discloses a control device. The device comprises an acquisition unit, a determination unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit is used for acquiring fingerprint information of an operation body for first operation when first operation is detected. The determination unit is used for determining response rate matching the operation body based on fingerprint information. The control unit is used for controlling electronic equipment to response to first operation according to response rate. Meanwhile, the invention further discloses a control method. By adoption of the technical scheme of the control device and method, response rate is increased, operation time of a user is saved and user's experience is improved.
