Experiência de estudante de agronomia quanto ao estágio de vivência da zona da mata – Minas Gerais

The life experience interdisciplinary internship in Zona da Mata- Minas Gerais has been happeningfor 20 years now, with the purpose of investigating questionings and comprehensionsthrough different realities which students who applied for the internship experience for onemonth. The internship consists of the hosting of the students by farmers families from thatregion in order to insert them into their realities respecting the no-intervention methodology,interdisciplinary and in partnership with the social movements. The main goals reached by thisprogram were the acknowledgement that the life routine on the fields is hard, the perceptionthat the knowledge acquired by the farmers cannot be reached inside the university and that itis the intern’s duty to search for changes for the troubles verified by them during their experiencesand also fight for public policies which benefit these communities and create new paths inthe face of the knowledge received through their studies which does not match the reality theywill have to face.
