Method for controlling a heliostat used to condense sunlight and device therefor.

2009
A method is provided for controlling a heliostat used to condense sunlight and a device therefor which achieves high efficiency condensing sunlight with a high rate of condensation of light, where a dew point of light (focal point) of the sunlight is not deflected and has high efficiency of layout area because there is carried out a rotation by a rotation mechanism. The control method, by which a heliostat having a plurality of reflecting mirrors and is used to condense sunlight, controlled for tracking the sun in its movement, reflecting sunlight and condense sunlight at a point predetermined focal comprises a step in which the plurality of reflecting mirrors is adjusted to have a focal point at a predetermined distance and a step in which the plurality of reflecting mirrors, which are configured to move and bend articulated together, is adjusted to track the sun and the light reflected from the reflecting mirrors is adjusted to have a focal point at an arbitrary point, thereby actuating the respective reflective mirrors hinged together, while the condition is maintained in which coordinates of predetermined points of the reflecting mirrors are fixed.
