On the Synthesis of the Potassium and the Tetra-N-butylammonium Salts of Some Acidopentacyanocobaltate(III) Complexes

Abstract The synthesis of K3[Co(CN)5X] and (n-Bu4N)3 [Co(CN)5X] (X = Cl, Br, SCN, NCS, N3) is discussed and chances for contamination by K3[Co(CN)6] and/or (n-Bu4N)3[Co(CN)6] during the synthesis are reported.
