Research on the anti-diabetes and anti-hyperlipidenmia activity of constituents isolated from Pu-erh Tea.

2010
The anti-diabetes and anti-hyperlipidenmia activity of the constituents isolated from Pu-erh Tea was studied by PPAR model and the chemical composition of constituents isolated from Pu-erh Tea was compared in this paper. The results showed that water fraction(Ⅱ-1),30% ethanol fraction(Ⅱ-2) and 50% ethanol fraction(Ⅱ-3) had anti-hyperlipidenmia and anti-diabetes functions. The water fraction(Ⅱ-1) had the strongest anti-diabetes function and the activated times on PPARγ receptor was 2.171.The 50% ethanol fraction(Ⅱ-3) had the strongest function on PPARδ,as high as 1.906 fold and the effect corresponded to that of positive drug which value was 1.899.The 30% ethanol fraction(Ⅱ-2) had the highest content of catechin and also had anti-diabetes and anti-hyperlipidenmia action, but the effects were weaker than that of Ⅱ-1 and Ⅱ-3.In consideration of the chemistry composition of these different extract parts,it was suggested that water dissolvable constituents from ethyl acetate fraction had the strongest anti-diabetes function and lipid dissolvable constituents from ethyl acetate fraction had the strongest anti-hyperlipidenmia function.
