Report on the COST 855 Meeting held in Pavia on urban pigeons and their implications on public health

Pigeons chlamydiosis is a relevant public health issue and there is a need to exchange data and experience about this topic among scientists of different countries. In order to address this issue, a meeting in the contex of the COST 855 Action was held in Pavia, Italy in spring 2006.
