Thermal stabilization of amorphous titanium dioxide

Crystallization of TiO 2 doped with various amounts of Al 2 O 3 is studied by differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffraction analysis. The inhibiting effect of Al 2 O 3 on the crystallization of the amorphous phaseis established.
