The invention discloses a paster type mode-transition torque-rise speed-regulation clutch device and a control method thereof, and the paster type mode-transition torque-rise speed-regulation clutch device is used for solving the technical problems such as a single function, incapacity of rising torque and regulating speed, and the like of a current ultrasonic clutch. The paster type mode-transition torque-rise speed-regulation clutch device comprises an upper box, a lower box, an input shaft, a shaft end assembly, a slide supporting assembly, a clutch shock excitation assembly, a pre-tensioning assembly, an output shaft, a connecting assembly and a fastening bolt, wherein the clutch shock excitation assembly consists of a fixed plate, a shock excitation rod and a friction plate; and the shock excitation rod is provided with a mode-converter structure, and a rectangular piezoelectric ceramic piece adopts a d31 shock excitation mode. An excitation electric signal within an ultrasonic frequency range is applied to the rectangular piezoelectric ceramic piece; the shock excitation rod and the friction plate are excited by the mode-converter to respectively generate a torsion vibration mode and a bending vibration mode; and superposition and coupling of the vibration modes are utilized to generate drive traveling wave to form drive friction force, so that clutch control and mode-transition torque-rise of the device are realized. The paster type mode-transition torque-rise speed-regulation clutch device has the technical advantages of being simple and compact in structure, capable of rising torque and regulating speed, and the like, and has a wide application prospect in the technical field of mechanical transmission and brake.
