Distribution line short circuit fault positioning system

The embodiment of the application discloses a distribution line short circuit fault positioning system. The system comprises a fault probe, a data repeater, a GSM/GPRS center station and a monitoring master station, wherein the fault probe is arranged on a distribution line and can be triggered to send address information and action information to the data repeater when a short circuit fault occurs to the distribution line where the fault probe is arranged; the data repeater is connected with the fault probe; the GSM/GPRS center station is connected with the repeater; the data repeater is used for sending the action information and the address information of the fault probe to the GSM/GPRS center station; the GSM/GPRS center station is used for demodulating, decoding and data processing for the action information and the address information, and sending processing results to the monitoring master station; and the monitoring master station is connected with the GSM/GPRS center station and is used for displaying geographic position information of a short circuit fault point according to the processing results from the GSM/GPRS center station. According to the distribution line short circuit fault positioning system, the positioning efficiency of short-circuit faults can be improved, and the automation level is improved.
