THE PRESSING OF REFRACTORIES CONTAINING GRAPHITE AND CARBORUNDUM IN THERMOPLASTIC STATE

Results of pressing thermoplastic graphite- and carborundum-containing masses are described. Experiments showed that it is possible to obtain first- rate products by pressing graphite-clay-containing masses in thermoplasiic state, especiaily when using ground graphite the structure was improved. Properties of the pressed products are given. (TCO)
