The invention discloses a road and bridge charging payment system and method based on wireless mobile terminal payment. The system comprises a lane charging terminal, a wireless mobile terminal, a remote transaction center server and a road charging center server, wherein the lane charging terminal, the wireless mobile terminal, the remote transaction center server and the road charging center server are connected through a communication network. The method includes the steps that entrance information, exit information and pass card or license plate information are acquired through the wireless mobile terminal, the amount of tolls needing to be paid is calculated, and after the tolls are paid, payment success information and the pass card or license plate information are sent to the remote transaction center server; the information is sent to the road charging center server through the remote transaction center server; pass card numbers or license plate numbers in the information are issued to the lane charging terminal through the road charging center server; currently-acquired information and the information sent by the road charging center server are compared through the lane charging terminal, and a lever is lifted directly and vehicles are allowed to pass after the information is matched successfully. According to the system and method, pass processing efficiency of existing manual charging lanes can be greatly improved.
