Clinical preliminary study on TORCH infection in the hospital neonatal serum

Objective To explore the TORCH infection status of neonates in Nanning region and its relationship with diseases.Methods TORCH-IgM antibody was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) for 606 cases of neonates.Results The total positive of TORCH-IgM of neonates was 5.78%.The infection rates of TOX,RV,CMV,HSV,HSV Ⅱ were 0.33%,0.50%,3.47%,0.83% and 0.66%,respectively.The infection rate of CMV was the highest in cases with hyperbilirubinemia of newborn,followed by pneumonia of newborn.Conclusions CMV infection showed the highest infection rate in the region,the neonatal TORCH infection often causes serious complications,so it is necessary to strengthen newborn screening.It is important to carry out health education in women of childbearing age.
