Development of an optical instrument for measuring temperature and emissivity of a hot surface
1993
This paper describes an improvement of a two color pyrometer which provides for near simultaneous multi-point measurements, reduced dependence on electronic circuits, and a greatly enhanced data display system. Important reasons for our development of this system include the need to make simultaneous measurements at widely separated points and the measurement of both surface temperature and emissivity. Finally, the data measured by this system is stored on magnetic media and can be correlated with other measurements on the system under study.© (1993) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
