Software development for the CEBAF Hall B experimental area

An overview of software efforts for the CLAS detector in CEBAF Hall B is given. Although the CLAS collaboration is faced with problems which cannot be compared directly to those at Halls A and C there is a certain overlap in software development all three experimental areas can benefit from. Several examples are presented.
