The characteristics of the 104 persons who died in Los Angeles County in 1980 where PCP use uas involved, have been studied. majority of these victims were Black (73%), males (85%), in their twenties (20-29 (!%%I), and the victim of a homicide (5.3%). only 14% of these cases was there a fatal overdose of PCP alone or in combination with other drugs.
