Improvement on GA and Its Applying to Reactive Power Optimization of Power Systems

According to the dynamic,multiobjective,many restriction and nonlinearity characteristics of reactive power,on the basis of simple Genetic Algorithm GA,we use an improved way which appended with selfadaptive control and the thinking of ranking fitness,and we ameliorate the rule of ending the arithmetic.To validate,this way is applied to IEEE 14 buses,and the simulating result shows that this way has a good effect on reactive power optimization of power system.
