Sexology and the Family

1998
Since the 1960s, premarital sex among young Western people has become quite widespread and unmarried mothers are common. This has generated serious social problems. Premarital sex in these countries has been bolstered by developments in "sexual freedom" and the move toward "commodification." In some welfare states, unmarried mothers receive a considerable living allowance. This has led to the undesirable practice of certain women having children as a means of obtaining a livelihood. I totally oppose unmarried pregnancy and premarital sex, especially among juveniles. The unity of marriage and sex has to this day been recognized as the moral standard by the majority of Chinese citizens.
