PENGARUH VARIASI MASSA LIMBAH FILTER CAKE PADA LIMBAH KULIT KAKAO SEBAGAI PAKAN TERNAK RUMINANSIA DENGAN BIOAKTIVATOR TRICHODERMA VIRIDE DAN MOLASSE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KANDUNGAN PROTEIN PAKAN (STUDI KASUS: PT. INDUSTRI GULA NUSANTARA, CEPIRING, KENDAL)

Filter cake and cocoa shell are industrial and plantation wastes that has not been widely used as a cattle feed, because it has a low protein content. This study aimed to analyze the effect of variations in the sugarcane filter cake and cocoa shell with the addition of Trichoderma viride and molasses as bio-activator to increase the protein content of the feed. The research was conducted in the laboratory of Environmental Engineering and laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Food, Diponegoro University. The experimental design was a factorial design with 2 x 7. A factor is the dose of the filter cake (0%, 30%, and 60%) and factor B is the addition of Trichoderma viride and molasses. Each treatment was repeated 2 times (duplo). The results showed that the protein content by adding variations Trichoderma viride has increased by 18%, meanwhile the addition of molasses increased only 12%. Variation of the filter cake was best gift 0% with Trichoderma viride bio-activator that produced the crude protein content of 12.27%.
