Patterns of pain experiences and use of analgesics among hospitalized cancer patients in Korea.

Concerns exist about practices of cancer pain management in large teaching hospitals and in community hospitals. This article presents information about pain severity and patterns of analgesic medication use for 450 postoperative patients with pain related to cancer diagnoses in Korea. Recommendations to improve cancer pain management also are included. j
