SAR image edge detection method and system

The invention discloses an SAR image edge detection method and system. The SAR image edge detection method includes the steps that support value filter denoising processing is carried out on received SAR images, so that high-frequency images in the SAR images are removed, only low-frequency images are left, and speckle noise is well eliminated; a least-square support vector machine is utilized for detecting the edges of the denoised images, and an edge detection image is obtained. By the SAR image edge detection method, the special speckle noise of the SAR images can be well eliminated, and accordingly edge images of the extracted SAR images are more accurate.
