The invention discloses an optimum speed measuring system and method for a vibratory roller based on frequency. The optimum speed measuring system comprises a signal collecting module, a signal processing module and a displaying module. The signal collecting module, the signal processing module and the displaying module are sequentially connected through data lines. According to the optimum speed measuring system and method, the signal collecting module, the signal processing module and the displaying module are combined reasonably, by means of accurate software analysis, quantitative matching of the vibration frequency and travel speed of the vibratory roller is achieved, working difficulty of drivers is reduced, and the construction efficiency and the stability of construction quality are improved.
