The application of competition and feedback intervention in nursing classroom teaching

Objective To explore the application of competition and feedback intervention in the classroom teaching of nursing. Methods Based on the classroom teaching of hospital nursing in 2015, the implementation of teaching reform in 2016, to carry out the work of each link(the course collect, courseware employed, class preparation, teaching quality evaluation, etc) the competition mechanism and feedback intervention, evaluation during the course for participation, the level of the instructors, completed on schedule , teaching quality evaluation and satisfaction survey, etc. Results Nursing unit participation increased from 42 nursing units to 53 nursing units, an increase of 26.20%.Nurse's teaching intention (number of lectures to be taught) increased from 42 lectures to 67 lecturse notes, an increase of 59.52%.The level of selected courseware lecturers has improved.The enrollment rate of head nurses and nursing team leaders increased from 33.33%(8 persons) to 70.83%(17 persons), and the enrollment rate of head nurses and above increased from 37.50%(9 persons) to 70.83%(17 persons). The teaching rate increased from 79.17%(19 lectures) to 100%(24 lectures) according to the plan, and from 45.83%(11 lectures) to 100%(24 lectures) according to the original topic.In the satisfaction survey of lecturers and listeners, the improvement of each item satisfaction between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.001). Conclusions The implementation of the teaching reform of competition and feedback intervention in nursing classroom teaching improves the brand quality of classroom teaching and effectively promotes the progress of the clinical nursing education.
