Reliability Analysis of Communication Channels in Wide Area Monitoring Analysis Protection-control System

The Wide Area Monitoring Analysis Protection-control (WARMAP) is an important guarantee to maintain the safe operation of power system, which requires high reliability of communication channels. In order to evaluate the reliability of communication channels in power system more accurately, a fault probability modeling method of communication channels based on the communication network status is proposed. In this paper, a case study is used to verify the effectiveness and rationality of the method through quantitatively analysis of the failure probability of different power communication services.
