Dosages of Nuclear-Polyhedrosis Virus Effective Against Malacosoma disstria with Notes on Interspecies Susceptibility

1965
Although the interspecies susceptibility of tent caterpillars in the genus Malacosoma to nuclear-polyhedrosis viruses has been well established (Clark and Thompson 1954, Clark 1958), it was not until recently (Stairs 1964) that the effect of dosage and the interaction of dosage with source of virus (i.e., different species of Malacosoma) was investigated.
