Synthesis of Bromochlorohydantoin Disinfectant

The physics-chemical character,the disinfection mechanism,and the synthetic method of bromochlorohydantoin were summarized.On the base,the synthetic technological parameters of bromochlorohydantoin were studied.As the primary quality indexes,the bromine and chlorine content and yield were tested.The effects of pH,the ratio of raw materials,temperature,time etc.on the quality of products were estimated and the optimum technological conditions were determined.Bromochlorohydantoin prepared under the optimum conditions has the bromine and chlorine content of more than 96%.And bromochlorohydantoin average yield is 97.30%,which reaches the quality requirements of the similar products at home and abroad.
