Is the Education Revolution Coming

Based on comprehensive surveys, the authors think it is unlikely that a large increase in spending on public education at the state and local level will be forthcoming in the near future. Reforms will probably be modest in the near term as well. Although confidence in the quality of education is declining, most people find that their local school systems are good. It is the schools of others that are failing.
