Clostridium difficile-Associated Proctitis of the Rectal Stump

AbstractWe present 2 cases of Clostridium difficile-associated proctitis involving the rectal stump. Both patients had undergone total abdominal colectomy, with Hartmann pouch construction and ileostomy as consequences of severe C. difficile colitis. After surgery, they were treated with broad-spect
