Arterial Doppler signal simulation by time domain processing

A computer simulation method for arterial Doppler ultrasound signals based on the application of white noise to a filter with a time-varying impulse response is described. The method is simple to implement and requires the input of only the mean frequency and spectrum shape variation during the cardiac cycle.
