State of lipid peroxidation system and antioxidant defense in acute respiratory viral infection in children and the principles of pathogenetic therapy

: Summary. Altogether 187 young children presenting with acute respiratory viral infection were examined for lipid peroxidation and antioxidant defense. The principles of the pathogenetically validated antioxidant treatment are discussed.
