The utility model relates to an electric power operation tool, and especially relates to a hanging bracket using an intermediate potentiometry to change a tension insulator of a 500 kV high-tension transmission line in live line. The hanging bracket changing a tension insulator comprises a suspender, a bracing frame, a pulley, and a clamping ring formed by a clamping base and a movable clamping block. The clamping ring and the pulley are respectively fixed on two ends of the suspender. A side surface of the suspender is provided with positioning dowel holes. The bracing frame is sleeved on a middle part of the suspender through cooperation of a positioning pin roll and the positioning dowel holes. The clamping base is provided with a U-shaped groove whose opening is upward. The bracing frame is provided with a U-shaped groove whose opening is downward. Since the clamping base is provided with the U-shaped groove whose opening is upward and the bracing frame is provided with the U-shaped groove whose opening is downward, when the whole hanging bracket is set up on a tension dual-chain insulator chain, the whole hanging bracket is in an inclined status. A position of the pulley is higher than a horizontal position of the insulator chain. An insulator replacement can be lifted to a highest point by pulling a stay cord, the highest point being a little higher than the horizontal arranged insulator chain. The whole process does not need bow or lift up the insulator. The hanging bracket is laborsaving, convenient, safe, and reliable.
