Globalisation and Change

This chapter focuses on sociological accounts of recent social change. It focuses primarily on the notion of reflexive or late modernity. However its main concern is with the diacritica of change rather than with the theoretical argumentation. It argues that post-structuralism offers a different account of such change to those offered by the reflexive modernity perspective.
