Diseminasi Digital Local Content PengetahuanIslam Lokal Membangun KeunggulanPerpustakaan di Lingkungan PTKIN

This article highlights the importance of collecting the information of local Islam in the form of a digital local content. This program may facilitate the need that Islamic literature sources should be easily accessed. It will help scholars much since the sources of information are in the form of digital application. Furthermore, digital local content will safely preserve the manuscripts since they are digitalized. Unfortunately, this program is not prioritized yet in Indonesian Islamic universities and colleges’ libraries. This paper also emphasizes the significance of local content as local knowledge which is actually different from repository and gray literature. The discussion of this paper then leads to the concept of local Islam information which is connected with explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge.
