Influence des macro-hétérogénéités sur la déformation résiduelle des composants en 18MnNiMo-5

2013
During the processing of ingots used for the manufacture of large metal parts, chemical macroheterogeneities inevitably appear, as they are inherent in the manufacturing process. The purpose of this study is to present various procedures used to characterize a grade of steel used in the civil nuclear industry, 18MnNiMo-5, in terms of metallurgical, mechanical and thermal proprieties and to present the results of the implementation of these data in the simulation software FORGE ®. The characterization was used to quantify the dependence of mechanical, thermal and metallurgical properties with respect to temperature, phase composition and chemical composition. The simulation allowed us to assess the importance of the presence of chemical macro-heterogeneities on the macroscopic residual deformation by simulating the quenching process at scale 1. It is shown that asymmetric distribution of chemical enriched zones may generate ovalities. Mots clefs : changement de phase, 18MND5, caracterisation, modelisation, trempe
