The invention provides a star simulator optical system with a long distance of exit pupil. The optical system includes a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, and a fifth lens. The first lens, the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens, and the fifth lens are arranged in the same horizontal light path. Star map information sent by a star reticle passes through the first lens, the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens and the fifth lens and then is emitted in parallel. According to the star simulator optical system with the long distance of exit pupil, a high imaging quality collimation optical system formed by the five lenses and having small distortion, small wave aberration and multiplying power aberration, and uniform dispersing spots improves the imaging precision of the star simulator optical system with the long distance of exit pupil.
