Synthesis of CsPbBr3 Perovskite Nanocrystals by Sole Ligand of Protonated (3-aminopropyl) Triethoxysilane

Herein, we report a simple and effective strategy to synthesize perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) with the sole ligand of (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APS) protonated by HBr, exhibiting high absolute photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) (up to ∼90%) and high stability in ethanol mixed with deionized water. Also, PQD with protonated APS (APS+-PQD) films were fabricated on a slide by centrifugal force for down-converted light emitting diodes (LEDs). In addition, the red shifts of the PQDs resulting from self-absorption and Fosrster resonance energy transfer (FRET) were observed for the first time.
