Study on Ferrous Sulfide Fire Retardant

[Objective] The purpose of this research was to study the ferrous sulfide fire retardant.[Method] Developed a kind of ferrous sulfide burning inhibitor composed of oxidation inhibitor and surface active agent,which was used for the hydrogenation catalyst recycling in the agricultural chemicals intermediate production process.The DSC/TGA thermo analyzer was used to inspect its fire-retardant properties.[Result] The results indicated that this method was convenient,accurate,and only needed a small amount of sample.The results of comparative experiment in the environment temperature of 39-45 ℃ showed that the maximum temperature of untreated catalyst reached 76 ℃,and at this time the temperature of the catalyst treated with home-made fire retardant was lower 33 ℃ than that of the untreated,and was slightly lower than the catalyst treated with imported fire retardant TP006.This indicated that home-made fire retardant had good fire-retardant effect.[Conclusion] This study will provide the theoretical references for further research of fire retardant.
