A literatura indigena desponta na producao academica nacional desde a primeira decada dos anos 2000, instituindo-se como um novo campo do conhecimento que da voz e vez aos povos indigenas brasileiros. Nao somente na identificacao e pertencimento da singularidade de cada povo mas, principalmente, este novo campo esta se constituindo com autores e pesquisadores indigenas efetivando o protagonismo destes. O artigo apresenta uma reflexao sobre a literatura indigena na formacao de professores em cursos de Pedagogia, atendendo a Lei 11.645/08, logo, consideracoes curriculares a partir de politicas publicas educacionais. O referencial teorico pauta-se em autores indigenas brasileiros que vem abrindo um novo corpus teorico na literatura brasileira: a literatura indigena. O metodo utilizado neste artigo segue a pesquisa bibliografica, construindo reflexoes sobre a literatura indigena na formacao inicial de professores. Um dos encaminhamentos do trabalho e o destaque da tematica indigena, pela literatura, na formacao de professores, indicando a pratica destes que a literatura indigena vai alem do cumprimento da Lei 11.645/08 no que diz respeito a escola nao indigena, de modo que se direciona, sobretudo, as criancas indigenas que nao frequentam escolas indigenas, tendo, assim, sua identidade e pertencimento atendidos na escola nao indigena. Considera-se tambem que a presenca desta literatura pela Lei 11.645/08 independe de haver educandos indigenas ou nao, trata-se de uma obrigatoriedade curricular, logo, de uma pratica pautada nas politicas publicas educacionais. ABSTRACT The indigenous literature emerges in the national academic production since the first decade of the 2000s, establishing itself as a new field of knowledge that gives voice and turn to Brazilian indigenous peoples. Not only in the identification and belongingness of the singularity of each people, but mainly, this new field is being constituted with authors and indigenous researchers effecting their role. The article presents a reflection on indigenous literature in teacher training in pedagogy courses, catering to Law 11,645/08, so curricular considerations from public educational policies. The theoretical background in Brazilian indigenous’ authors who have opened a new theoretical corpus in Brazilian literature: the indigenous literature. The method used in this article follows the bibliographical research, building reflections on indigenous literature in initial teacher training. One of the purposes is to highlight indigenous issues, literature, teacher training, indicating that the practice of these indigenous literature goes beyond compliance with the Law 11.645/08 with regard to non-indigenous school, fall upon, especially, to indigenous children who do not attend indigenous schools, and thus if their identity and belonging are being met in non-indigenous school. It is also considered that the presence of this literature by Law 11,645/08 is independent of having indigenous students or not, it is a curricular requirement, so must be a guided practice in educational public policies.
