o objetivo desse trabalho foi av aliar as condi,oes quimicas do solo em sistema de intercultivo com diferentes arranjos de cacaueiros e coqueiros em Ji-Parana, estado de Rondonia. Os tratamentos avaliados foram: TI- coqueiros (9,0 x 9,0 m) com duas fileiras de cacaueiros (3,0 x 3.0- 6,0 m) nas entrelinhas, sombreados por bananeiras (Musa spp) e gliricidias (Gliricidia sepium L.); T2- coque iros (9,0 x 9,0 m) com duas fileiras de cacaueiros (3,0 x 2,0 m) nas entrelinhas, sombreados por bananeiras; T3- coqueiros (9,0 x 9,0 m) COm duas fileiras de cacaueiros (2,5 x 2.5 m), sombreados por bananeiras e gliricidias; T4- coque iros (7.0 x 7,0 m) cm linhas desencontradas, com fileiras simples de cacaueiros (3,0 x 7,0 m) nas entrelinhas, sombreados por duas fileiras de bananeiras, uma de cada lado dos cacaueiros; T5- duas Itnhas de coque iros (7,0 x 7,0 m) desencontradas. com fileiras simples de cacaueiros (2,0 x 7,0 m) nas entrelinhas, sombreados por duas fileiras de bananeiras; T6- area coberta com mala primaria. O caJcio foi O c1emento que mais variou nos diferentes arranjos do SAF. As caracteristicas pH, satura~iio de bases (V) e os teores de fosforo, potassio e aluminio nao apresentaram diferen,as cstatisticas entre a mata e os diferentes arranjos do sistema agroflorestaJ. The characteristics pH, saturalioo ofbases (V) and lhe levels ofphosphorus. potassium and aluminium showed no statitical differences between the forest and the various arrangements of SAF
