Application of DFP vanadium and nickel passivator in a RFCC unit

2003
DFP, a newly developed vanadium and nickel passivator featured by non-toxicity, high efficiency and stability, was tested on a industrial RFCC unit. Test results showed that, with 39%-42% (wt) residue in the feedstock and 7500-9000 ppm vanadium and 5000-6000 ppm nickel in the equilibi-um catalyst, light oil yield and activity were increased by 0.45% and 4%-5% respectively, and coke yiel dand hydrogen yield were reduced by 16%-20% (wt) and 25%-30% (wt), respectively, compared with MP, a typical passivator in domestic market.
