An Hybrid Wavelet Based SFTA Technique For Content Based MRI Brain Image Retrieval

this research work introduces the new feature extraction technique to retrieve identical diseased MRI brain images from the collection of images available in the hospital database. Single attribute of any image is not enough to accurately retrieve the similar case images from the database containing same disease image differ by severity. With intension of giving solution to above problem the proposed CBMIR module uses the hybrid features i.e., WSFTA (Segmentation based Fractal Texture Analysis and wavelet coded image features). The database consisting of 150 brain MR images with three classes were utilized to calculate the efficiency of the suggested module. Experimental result demonstrates the excellence of the system with improved accuracy and shows the ability to work successfully in medical application.
