PENGARUH GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR GEOGRAFI SISWA KELAS X DI SMA PUSRI PALEMBANG

ABSTRACT This study aims to increase the influence of the guided discovery discovery method on the learning activities of class X geography students at Pursi Palembang High School. The research method used is a quantitative approach using experiments with data collection techniques using observation sheets. The population in this study was class X Palembang Pusri High School, the sampling was obtained from class ips1 as the experimental class and class X ips2 as the control class. Data analysis techniques based on calculations, obtained t count> t table = 0.45> 1.34, namely t count = 0.45 and t table = 1.34 then accept the hypothesis (ha) which means "There is the influence of guided discovery learning method in increase the learning activities of students of class X geography at Palembang Pusri High School. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengaruh metode guidede discovery learning terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa geografi kelas X di SMA Pursi Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan eksperimen  dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X SMA Pusri Palembang, pengambilan sampelnya di peroleh dari kelas ips 1 sebagai kelas ekperimen dan kelas X ips 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data berdasarkan perhitungan, diperoleh t hitung > t tabel = 0,45>1,34yaitu t hitung =  0,45dan t tabel =1,34 maka terima hipotesis (ha) yang berarti “ Ada pengaruh motode guided discovery learning dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa geografi  siswa kelas X di SMA Pusri palembang.
