Towards the emergence of artificial culture in collective robotic systems

Multicellular organisms provide the inspiration for the development of novel principles of adaptation and evolution for robotics and, in particular, for so-called multi-robot organisms. This book introduces new concepts for symbiotic robot organisms and reports on experience of researching and developing such systems.
