System and method for target tracking

The invention provides a method for controlling an unmanned aircraft. The method comprises the steps of displaying one or more images captured the onboard image equipment of an unmanned aircraft in real time by a display device; receiving a target selected by a user in one or more images displayed in real time through an input device; based on the target selected by the user, generating the information of the target; providing the information of the target to the unmanned aircraft, and allowing the unmanned aircraft to autonomously track the target according to the information of the target. The invention also provides a system and a method for controlling the unmanned aircraft.
