A part of light according to the invention (202, 204, 206, 208, 210) includes a substrate (102), on which at least one semiconductor chip (104, 104a, 104b) is arranged to emit electromagnetic radiation. An elastic wave guide (106) for mixing the electromagnetic radiation, is the at least one semiconductor chip (104, 104a, 104b) disposed downstream in the radiation direction. The elastic wave guide (106) is connected via at least one of its side surfaces (111) to about 10 .mu.m to about 100 .mu.m, in particular over the substrate (102). A luminaire according to the invention (302, 304, 306, 308, 310) has at least two of the above-mentioned part of lights (202, 204, 206, 208, 210) on. The elastic wave guide (106) of adjacent partial lights (202, 204, 206, 208, 210) are joined to each other without a gap. The invention further relates to a method for producing a lamp part (202, 204, 206, 208, 210) and a method for producing a lamp (302, 304, 306, 308, 310).
