There is provided ( "NFC tag") is a system for activating a vehicle in a key-on state by detecting a presence of a Nahfeldkommunikations tag. The system comprises a vehicle bus, a start button in communication with the vehicle bus, an NFC antenna and a control module. The NFC antenna is arranged for selective coupling with the NFC tag, when the NFC tag is located within a predetermined distance from the NFC antenna. The control module communicates with the NFC antenna and the start button in communication.
