The invention relates to the technical field of biosensing, in particular to a silicon-nanowire-based odor identification biosensor. As a silicon nanowire serves as an energy converter, the silicon-nanowire-based odor identification biosensor has a large specific surface area, is extremely sensitive to changes of the surface charge density, and can realize high-sensitivity detection of odorant molecules under the gas phase condition, and the detection sensitivity can reach ppb level; the silicon-nanowire-based odor identification biosensor is simple in technological process and strong in controllability and is completely compatible with a conventional semi-conductor technology; and the silicon-nanowire-based odor identification biosensor is low in cost and suitable for batch production.
