Electric Starter Start-up Systems with High-Voltage Current Supply Sources

2020
In this paper, the use of electric start-up systems with high-voltage current supply sources designed to start an internal combustion engine is encouraged. Experimental graphical dependences of the main parameters of electric starter start-up systems depending on the value of the energy storage capacity and the value of the initial charging voltage are presented. The dependences of the average net power of the starter motor on the scrolling time t for various values of the capacity of energy storage devices and their initial charging voltage of 290 V, scrolling time, number of engine strokes, average engine rotational speed, maximal engine rotational speed, energy balance depending on the energy storage capacities at various initial voltages, the average moment of the starter motor on the parameters, and the energy efficiency of the starting system on the energy storage capacities are also presented.
