Finishing of cylindrical gear wheels is considered in this paper. Gearing with dispIaced poIe in rotation provides for reIative sIipping of surfaces of gear wheeI teeth and generating tool. The surface of generating tool gear teeth is shaped hy the electric erosion machining which makes surface roughness to remove an allowance from the machined wheel.
